QAS congratulates 2016 Dalby BEA winners
Queensland Audit Services (QAS) were proud to be sponsors at the Dalby Business Excellence Awards (BEA) and gala dinner ceremony held Saturday 15 October at Dalby Showground Pavilion.
QAS, sponsors of the Not for Profit Clubs and Associations category, were thrilled to hand the judge’s award to Dalby Welcoming Community Inc.
On presenting the award, QAS Business Manager Noel Brownsey said, “To welcome both visitors and new residents of Dalby and its region is an inspiring undertaking. With so many organisations striving for excellence and going above and beyond to innovate and succeed, Dalby Welcoming Community Committee’s award is thoroughly deserved.”
Dalby Welcoming Community Committee is made up of representatives of community groups – social, cultural and sporting – council representatives, Chamber of Commerce & Industry and individuals. The Group was formed in 2008 as a response to the Dalby community changing with a diverse range of people moving into the area.
QAS was established in 2005 and aims to provide a quality and independent audit service in the least time possible making ‘getting the books audited’ easier than ever by complementing the range of tax and accounting services offered by Carrick Aland Accountants. QAS now has offices in Toowoomba, Dalby and Chinchilla on the Darling Downs, which are central points for servicing clients throughout Australia.
Now in its 20th year, the Dalby BEA is an exciting, regional initiative by the Dalby Chamber of Commerce. The wide-ranging awards program recognises excellence across the entire region. With a broad range of categories, the Dalby BEA provides a platform for all our business leaders to be recognised.
A Dalby BEA is a coveted prize; previous winners have received recognition and publicity, both locally and beyond plus the opportunity to formally recognise business excellence.
